Bow Wow Is The Michael Jordan Of Our Era, Says Romeo Miller

Rapper Shad “Bow Wow” Moss arrives for an event in September 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After a month of exchanges between Bow Wow and Soulja Boy on social networks, the two men finally competed in a battle against Verzuz.

In preparation for the highly anticipated match, which will see both opposing their discographies, Bow Wow and Soulja Boy shared fighting words.

“Bow Wow aint’ had a hit since ‘Marco Polo’ and I gave him that song,” said Soulja in a recent tweet. “Bow Wow, couldn’t make a hit in 2021 if his life depended on it.”

Bow Wow, who makes an appearance in the new movie Fast & Furious F9, replied that he is happy not to release any new music.

“I’ll be in the box office this weekend while you sit at home in your living room yelling on live at no one,” Bow Wow wrote in a recent tweet. “Soulja is the Ben Simmons of the rap game. Go rehearse and get off the internet. See you Saturday cap gun.”

Bow Wow and Soulja Boy went back and for about an hour and 45 minutes playing hit after hit. When Soulja Boy decided to bring out Romeo Miller.

In the late 90s and early 2000s, Lil Bow Wow and Lil Romeo were making music. Like anybody else who came out at the same time, people like to put them against each other, whether Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, or like the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, and the Notorious BIG and Tupac.

“People always put us against each other and me and him know it’s funny,” Romeo told HollywoodLife last year. “We used to have Valentine’s Day Parties together where the girls would be going crazy. They’d be like, ‘Rom and Bow Wow, throwing a Valentine’s Day party together?’ It was crazy. We’ll be hoopin’ at UCLA together. We’d have workout nights when we were younger, so I just think the world wanna compare and make you compete, but the truth is, — they’ll be surprised if they knew the real story behind our story, and I think that’s how you inspire the world.”

Back tonight, the two squashed the beef between the two on the Verzuz Stage.

“You couldn’t do no Verzuz without me Bow,” says Miller.

“Bow, I told you you couldn’t have no Verzuz without me, and it wasn’t on no music s***. It was about history. It was Lil Romeo and Lil Bow Wow, right? And I wanted to show people that we are stronger together. It should not have taken us 20 years to be here.

Soulja Boy is the first rapper and only rapper to get Bow Wow and Romeo on the same stage. So, salute man. 20 years later that is what it is about and look I gotta tell you this for real.”

He would continue: “I have been waiting to tell you this for 20 years, my first song ‘My Baby,’ I put you on my song. The world put us against each other, but you the Michael Jordan, right? Every era has a Michael Jordan, a Kobe, and LeBron. You the Michael Jordan, you inspired all of us n**** up here. You need to your roses while you can F****g smell them,” Miller said.

‘ Me, I was Kobe, where I didn’t have to be the most talented, but I worked my a**off. I know my purpose, and Soulja, you were the LeBron of our era. Where you came, and you were the innovator and switched s*** up. You had n*** writing their name on their glasses. So you deserve your roses too.”
