Usher Raymond is known for his Grammy-winning voice on singles such as U Got It Bad, Burn, My Way, Confessions, Caught Up, and Papers, to name a few of his hits. He is also known for his abs for all the ladies out there.

Recently, Raymond was on the Clubhouse app in the Usher Party room and revealed how actually, he was able build those legendary abs.

According to Raymond, “back then I really didn’t have the money [to go to the gym] it was homegrown. At JD’s [Jermaine Dupri] house, it was a fantasy land for a kid. You can play video games, arcade games I ain’t never seen anything s*** like this in my life at the time. I’m like we are making hit records in here and play hella video games, but I could play pool. At least I thought I could and JD was like lets play for some push ups or sit ups. I was like cool because I really didn’t have money. So, we started playing for sit ups and push ups, and before you know it two months later I develop a six pack from losing so much.”

Usher is currently working on a new album with Dupri, but according to Raymond, it has been a slow process because he wants it to be right.
