Last week, Paul Pierce and ESPN decided to part ways after Pierce was seen on Instagram Live smoking, playing poker, and in a room full of strippers.
After Piece’s departure from ESPN, there have been reports that he was offered $250k from adult site Cam Soda. The company would like the Celtics legend to be the platform’s first-ever “NBA Analyst,” and stream nightly shows on the site for people to tune in to.
Pierce has also been linked to Boston, Massachusetts based company Barstool. This past week Pierce released a video on his IG with the caption “Bigger and better things on the Way”.
NBA Champion Brendan Haywood shared on Tuesday that he heard Pierce and Barstool have mutual interest.
“I’m not sure how true this rumor is, but this is what I have heard, and he will fit in just fine over there,” said Haywood on Instagram Live on Tuesday afternoon.
The owner of Barstool, Dave Portnoy recently reached out to Pierce via Twitter to see if Pierce was interested in possibly joining the brand, according to Heavy’s Frederick Ennette.
Although the possibility of both sides, joining forces might be the ideal fit. I hear that there might be a bigger opportunity for Pierce and his potential co-host. That has not even been announced yet.
Pierce is part of the finalist to get into this year’s Hall of Fame class, along with other names like Ben Wallace, Lauren Jackson and Yolanda Griffith.
