
On Wednesday, Kevin Durant made his long and anticipated return to the court. Durant missed almost two months with a left hamstring strain. The Brooklyn Nets handled the Pelicans 139-111. Durant scored 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
“I expected to come out here and play the way I played,” he said. “I wasn’t trying to ease into the game. I just wanted to go out there and dive right into the action. The game was fast-paced already, so watching it from the bench I knew exactly how I needed to approach it. But it was pretty cool coming off the bench, I can’t lie. It was also good to play in front of the fans as well.”
On Friday, Durant was on Twitter Space in Boogie Bousins’s Space, during his the question & answer section, the two time Finals MVP was asked about team chemistry.
“When you’ve got high IQ players, it’s not hard to figure sh** out.”
The Nets play the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday on ABC.
