Last month it was announced that Kobe Bryant, along with Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Rudy Tomjanovich, fellow hoopers’ Tamika Catchings, and Kim Mulkey, would all be a part of the 2020 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class. The Hall of Fame ballers will all be inducted on August 28, 2020.

Three days after the announcement, the 21-year NBA veteran Kevin Garnett spoke with The Athletic’s Shams Charania and revealed being select for the Hall of Fame was a “perfect way to end a dope story.”

Nineteen-year NBA veteran and three-time Sixth man of the Year, Jamal Crawford recently shared that Kevin Garnett was one of his ten favorite players.

“He’s the one player that I got a chance to play against obviously and had the opportunity to build a relationship with. He was also the one person that I didn’t get a chance to play with that I also wanted to. He is one of my favorite players ever and I have nine other favorites and KG [Kevin Garnett] is the only big man. All the others are guards because I am a guard and he is the only big on the list, right?” Crawford said.

“And I’m like okay, he is like my favorite because of his passion, his energy, and his love for the game. Everything about him and everything I heard about him from Chauncey Billups to so many differen犀利士 t people on how he is as a teammate and it was unbelievable. He is one of my favorite players of All-time.”

Crawford is currently a free agent. He last played in the NBA on April 10th, 2019, against the Dallas Mavericks. If that is his last game in the NBA, he along with Kobe Bryant are the only two players to score 50 plus in their last NBA game.

Hall of Famer inductee Garnett is a huge fan of Jamal Crawford’s as well, and he shared that on his segment on KGArea21 on January 24, 2018 with Crawford as a guest.

“Man, I love this, and I love listening to you talk. Man, I’m a huge fan of yours you know that, and I shared that with you man,” said Garnett.

Jamal Crawford like every other NBA veteran is practicing social distancing and offering up resources to help individuals within their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We donated 125,000 meals throughout the state of Washington and throughout the country. I also helped to provide childcare for the Rotary Boys & Girls Club in Seattle. From there I helped with World Vision and we provided essentials such as, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, soap, and meals for churches, senior citizens, and children. I also partnered with some of the schools in the area and help pay some of their salaries because they weren’t being compensated,” said Crawford.

“So, been involved with different things just trying to help out. I also partnered with [Chicago Bulls guard] Zach LaVine, [Ex-Seattle Seahawk] Cliff Avril, and [Seattle Mariners second baseman] Dee Gordon.”

During his 21 seasons in the NBA, ‘The Big Ticket’ averaged 17.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per犀利士 game. He was also received 15 All-Star selections, a 9-time All-NBA, an NBA Champion during the 2007-08 season, and was named the 2002-03 MVP.
