Damian Lillard has had an eventful offseason that began on NBA draft night aiming at Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III after he was called out on First Take. Lillard released a track called “MARVINNNNNN!!!???” and after Bagley’s response, he released another single called “BYE, BYE.”
Last month, Lillard would sign a four-year extension worth $196 million to stay in the city of Roses per Sean Meagher of the Oregonian. During his press conference, Lillard stated that felt the Blazers have built something special.
“I think we’ve built something special,” said Lillard. “It’s real genuine. The environment we’ve created is something I’ve been a part of and something I want to continue to be a part of.”
On Tuesday night Lillard announced via Instagram Live that he would be releasing his third studio album entitled “BIG D.O.L.L.A.” on Friday, August 9th through his Front Page Music label. Earlier today he released the tracklist that will feature ten songs and will have singles with Lil Wayne and Jeremih.

Earlier this summer, it was announced that Damian Lillard would be part of the cast of Space Jam 2 along with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul, Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike, and Chiney Ogwumike.
Lillard recently shared that he had to cut his facial hair for the film. He will also not just making a cameo appearance reported by Portland Trailblazers beat writer Casey Holdahl.
“It’s significant,” says Lillard, according to Casey Holdahl. “It’s not a cameo.”
“That was different,” said Lillard of shooting the movie, per Holdahl. “You all know I’ve always had a babyface, so this season I grew a beard out, it took me like six months to grow it. I show up on the set, they make me shave it off for the animation. That’s why I look like this now. It was bare-faced for the animation, 15-hour days, showing up on the set at 6 a.m., leaving at 9 p.m. It was long.”
Last season, Lillard averaged 25.8 points, 6.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game, and helped along with C.J.McCollum lead the Blazers to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 19 years. Unfortunately for Portland, they would go on to lose to the Golden State Warriors in four games.
