The Boston Celtics take the first game in the race to four victories against the Milwaukee Bucks 112- 90 on the road. Behind great play from Kyrie Irving and Al Horford as both carried the scoring load for the Celtics as they chipped in 46 of the C’s 112 points today. Both also had a double-doubles Horford grabbed 11 rebounds, while Irving dished out 11 assists. Other Celtics players, who also left their mark on this game were Gordon Hayward and Jaylon Brown as they combined for 32 points.

As for the Bucks, MVP Candidate, Giannis Antetokounmpo led all Bucks scorers with 22 points, while addi犀利士
ng eight rebounds and two assists. Follow All-Star Kris Middleton had a double-double as he added 16 points, and ten rebounds on Sunday afternoon against Boston. Eric Bledsoe did not play like someone that just got a 70 million dollar contract with numbers such as six points, two rebounds, and four assists. If the Bucks are going to make this a series against the Celtics they are going to need more of scoring output from Bledsoe and other players off the bench like George Hill, who only scored nine points.

But, it might be too late as former Boston Celtic and current ESPN/ABC Countdown Analyst Paul Pierce says this series is over in five.

“When I look at the Bucks I wonder what they could do better. What adjustments can they make because the Celtics pretty much got everything they wanted. They scored in the paint, outrebounded them. Kyrie is supposed to be a focal point of your scouting report did whatever he wanted. On the other hand, guys have to step I believe from Milwaukee are guys like Bledsoe, you got Jaylen Brown (I Think he meant Sterling Brown) and the one thing that went unnoticed because they swept through Detroit, was missing [Malcolm] Brogdon. That is huge for Milwaukee now and you will see the effect of that in this series.“

He would continue:

“Giannis definitely has to play better, but as a team, I don’t know where Milwaukee goes from here because… I think it is over… If Giannis doesn’t have a monster game and if somebody besides him doesn’t step up. Boston is just going to out-talent them, said Paul Pierce.“

Game two is on Tuesday in Milwaukee at Fiserv Forum at 7 PM EST.
