LeBron James says the story about him beefing with the Lakers that was reported by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin is false. McMenamin reported that James’trust with the franchise has been damaged.’
“I think the trust that LeBron James has in the organization has been damaged. Right now, it’s a tough bridge that has fallen that’s going to need to be put back together. Whoever’s involved, there’s going to have to be an initial thing proven w/ the coach and free agency.” via ESPN 710 AM in L.A.
Per TMZ: James saw the report while he was working out and said the report was not true.
“THAT. IS. NOT. TRUE,” LeBron said on Instagram … “It’s not true at all!”
And added, “It’s just not!”
James, also shared that he was at the Lakers training facility.
“I’m actually at the Lakers facility right now … HAHAHAHA!”
James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists this past season. Unfortunately for James and the Lakers the season did not go as planned as they are not in the playoffs this season. They are looking to be very active in free agency in a couple of months. As for James, he is looking to film Space Jam 2 this summer along with other projects that he is involved with off the court.
