Maverick owner Mark Cuban shared his thoughts on the passing of fellow NBA owner Paul Allen before the first game of the 2018-2019 season.
“He was a legend! When I first came into the league, he told me what to expect from David Stern and how to deal with it. He was relentless and what he believed in for the NBA and didn’t take any prisoners. He always tried to do the right thing. Obviously, he was a legend in the tech world I grew up in the PC business, and I started selling PCs 1983, and Microsoft products when he was part of the company. It’s just heartbreaking because there is so much to him and what he brought to the world that I don’t think people recognized, but the people who know him do and appreciate it,” Cuban told me.
