Los Angeles Jeweler Jason Arasheben Gives Insight On Warriors 2018 Championship Rings

It was opening night in the NBA for the Back to Back Champions the Golden State Warriors, which also means they received their championship rings prior to taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder without Russell Westbrook. Westbrook sat out the opener due to a leg injury that he is still recovering from after having surgery this off-season.

The Warriors Championship Rings were designed by Jason Arasheben, and Draymond Green of the Warriors was “very opinionated” on how the ring should look.

“[Draymond] wanted to have a ring to be a certain way, but also wanted to break away from the past, so to speak,” Arasheben told Brandon Robinson, senior writer at Basketball Society and host of the Scoop B Radio podcast.

“They wanted to have a ring that had its own identity, you know, didn’t really look like previous championship rings. So, you know, we definitely got a lot of the players’ input. Then there were other players who don’t really need to give as much input, like Klay, who was just happy to have a ring at all.”

Arasheben also designed the previous two championship rings in 2015, and 2017 for the Warriors. Arasheben is a Los Angeles based jeweler who runs his own jewelry store entitled ” Jason of Beverly Hills.”

The Warriors took care of the OKC Thunder 108-100 on opening night behind the scoring of the two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who poured in 32 points and nine assists. While Kevin Durant pitched in 27 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. The Warriors will head to Utah to play the Jazz on Friday in Salt Lake City.
