Jag Drops His “2700” EP

Jag’s highly anticipated EP “2700” is available on all platforms. Over the last nine months, he has been prepping fans for the follow-up project to his debut album “Dalton Ave,” which was released late last year.  The Los Angeles based artist started off the year by making an appearance on the popular morning show “Sway In The Morning.”

The first quarter also saw Jag release a Sports Center Cypher just in time for All-Star Week in his hometown of Los Angeles with his former roster mates at Priority Records. Then came the “The Kapernick Effect” in March addressing police brutality towards  African-Americans that was a part of a viral campaign.

2700 contains twelve tracks that include collaborations with Trey Songz  “Tap In,” and “Far From Me”  featuring Problem, which was released in August. Other singles include features from  Ty Dolla $ign, Cozz, Reason, Garren, Ye Ali, Mir Fontane and many more.

I also had the opportunity to speak with Jag on behalf of The Rapfest late last month.  Our conversation focused on his upcoming collaboration with Dope Clothing and Ciroc. The full “2700” EP can be streamed below!
