You grow up listening to West Coast legends like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre. In your own words, how have they influenced you throughout your career?

Well, I’ve been rapping since first grade and coming up listening to these veterans influenced my passion for music even more.

You recently signed a deal as A&R with the indie label Made4Millions Entertainment…who are looking to sign as far as producers and artists? What do you look for?

I’m definitely looking for an artist to work with. Mostly singers and female rappers since there aren’t enough of them.

You have a performance on July 1st with Plies and Boosie. Can you tell us what that means you as an artist at this stage of your career?

It means a lot and it’s just another step, right after the show the work must continue.

Are you currently in the studio and working on new music?

I have my own production and recording studio, and I’m in the studio 7 days a week 12 hours a day.

Who are you currently working with right now?

Just currently working on myself as far as production and taking my skill and craft to the next level, [though] I do have plans of working with other artists in the future.

Who is on your Mt. Rushmore for producers?

Black Metaphor, Just Blaze, The Olympics, Metro Boomin, Southside, TM88, Sonny Digital, The-Dream, Cardiak and Ryan Leslie.

Back in 1998, you started performing at local talent shows, open mic venues and mom-and-pop shops. Have you thought about partnering with some of the local venues to host events, being that you are an A&R?

Haven’t thought about hosting the event right now, [but] we’re definitely [planning for] more shows [and] larger venues.

What are some of your ambitions outside of the entertainment business?

Fashion and acting.

RESPECT.: What’s your best advice for upcoming artists and producers?

Stay consistent be creative.
