Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving Look Dynamic Thus Far, Says Ex-Net

The Brooklyn Nets are five and a half games into the season, and its two stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have only played four and a half games together.

In the games that they have been on the floor you can see the chemistry between them and your teammates. Both missed significant time due to injury.

Irving has started off the 2020-21 season averaging 28.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.0 assists p犀利士 er game, while Durant is averaging 28.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. It’s a combination that former Nets guard, Devin Harris enjoys watching thus far.

“Right now, they look very dynamic and they fit together very well. They compliment each other very well and they will be a force,” said Harris.

“Now, weather they can win a championship [that is yet to be seen], me personally I have the Lakers the team to beat in the west, but I think if they stay healthy. They are definitely a team that can come out the east.”

Harris played four season樂威壯 with the New Jersey Nets [2007-2011] after being traded to New Jersey in a deal that sent Jason Kidd back to Dallas.

Per ESPN’s Marc Stein,

Kidd, forward Malik Allen and swingman Antoine Wright are sent to Dallas for 24-year-old point guard Devin Harris, center DeSagana Diop, swingman Trenton Hassell, guard Maurice Ager, Van Horn via sign-and-trade, first-round draft picks this June and in 2010 and $3 million in cash. 

According to Nets GM at the time, it was a trade that would help them at the time.

“This trade provides us with immediate help, most notably with the acquisition of Devin Harris, who we consider one of the rising young point guards in the NBA,” Nets president Rod Thorn said in a statement. “Harris’ numbers have improved each of his four years in the league, and we feel that he has a significant upside. This trade also will give us two future first-round draft picks and will give us flexibility to improve our roster.”

The Nets are currently losing to the Atlanta Hawks 89 to 70 with 25 seconds left in the third quarter.
