Damian Lillard Is A Future Hall of Famer, Says NBA Analyst

Over the last four games, Portland Trailblazers All-Star, Damian Lillard has scored 185 points. After missing two free-throws that might have given the Blazers the victory over the Los Angeles Clippers last weekend.

The antics of Patrick Beverley, Marcus Morris Sr., and Paul George at the end of the game after. Now, look like the added motivation that Lillard needed specifically to willed his team into the playoffs.

During Saturday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, former Warriors coach turned NBA analyst, Mark Jackson Lillard is a superstar.

“This guy is a superstar franchise talent and a future Hall of Famer,” Jackson.

Jackson’s broadcast partner Mike Breen is also impressed with Lillard play in the bubble. Dubbing him one of the greatest clutch players of this era.

“Wh樂威壯 at he has done with his play in the bubble is what legends are made. And he was already known as a great player, but he has become one of the great clutch players of this era,” Breen.

NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller named Lillard as his MVP of the bubble.

“This is pop a shot people. This not fair 8 of 13 from downtown for Lillard. 39 points and it is over, he is the bubble MVP,” said Miller.

On Saturday night, It was announced that Lillard was named the NBA’s Bubble MVP with a unanimous vote, earning all 22-writers’ first place votes, according to Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports.

After the game, Carmelo Anthony shared with Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, that Lillard is the best player he has played with.

Dame’s at the top for me. I’ve never played with someone who lifted his team on the court with his play and as a leader. He genuinely cares for his teammates. What he’s been able to do is amazing. He’s the top guy I’ve played with. — Anthony told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports! 

That is high praise being that Melo had played with guys like Russell Westbrook, Paul George,  Allen Iverson and Chauncey Billups to name a few.

The Blazers will take on the Los Angeles Lakers in game one of the first round of the NBA 2020 Playoffs.
