The NBA has such a rich history featuring stories about incredible athletes and talented players. Every once in a while a great player will master their own patent move that opponents cannot seem to stop. Only a couple of those moves come to mind, but they have been beneficial and lethal like the Dirk Nowitzki one-legged fade away, which he used on his way to becoming sixth all-time on the all-time scoring list as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played 20 seasons in the NBA with the Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks and lit up the league with his patent Sky Hook that landed him in the number one spot on the all-time scoring list. Another move that can be considered unstoppable Michael Jordan/ Kobe Bryant’s turnaround fade away that help both individuals to 11 NBA Championships collectively over the course of their careers. From this generation of superstars in the NBA that has mastered a stoppable move is James Harden with his lethal step back jumper.

There have several incidents where Harden has embarrassed his opponents such as Avery Bradley, Wesley Johnson, Kristaps Porzingis, Andre Iguodala, Ricky Rubio, Jeremy Lin, and Myles Turner to name a few, but he has not always been able to hit the shoot like in the video above.

The Rockets and Harden were recently featured on TNT and at half-time during their game against the Utah Jazz Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Ne犀利士
al shares his opinion on Harden’s step back jumper.

“You can’t do anything with that step back,” says Shaq.

Harden is currently in a foot race this season with Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo for the regular season MVP award this year. The winner of the award will be announced in June at the NBA Awards later this summer.

James Harden is averaging 36.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game.
