NBA Insiders Shoot On Where Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Kawhi Leonard Land Next Season

This past summer Scoop B Radio host Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson received a tip from a source at Hopkins Airport in Cleveland, who is also a registered pilot. The pilot confirmed that James was on a plane from Anguilla to Van Nuys, CA. Van Nuys is about a half hour from the Staples Center. James at the time was hinting that he would be signing with the Lakers this past offseason.

According to a local reporter in Los Angeles by the name of Tarek Fattal reported that LeBron James has landed at Van Nuys’ airport.

LeBron would officially sign a four year worth 154 million dollars with the Los Angeles Lakers. Robinson would make headlines the Monday before all 30 teams had their media days, by reporting 2-times Finals MVP Kevin Durant is preparing to make a move to Los Angeles just like LeBron was preparing in 2017.

Several outlets including ESPN shows such as Jalen and Jacoby, and High Noon noted Robinson’s tweets on their programs.

Robinson was not done, he also reported the 76ers were in the mix to land Jimmy Butler via a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He also shared that Sixers Guard Markelle Fultz allegedly had a motorcycle accident that Fultz’ team was trying to keep under wraps due to the financial ramifications that come with non-basketball injuries. Fultz is still going through the rehabilitation process.

Robinson also reported that Anthony Davis would be a trade target for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Since both of these reports were released Robinson has had both NBA veteran reporters Fox Sports 1’s, Jason McIntyre, Sports Analyst, Fox Sports’ Chris Broussard, and Chris Sheridan about possible destinations for Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant.

“People are going to hold me to it. Scoop, If you put this out there, obviously, I think Anthony Davis will tell the people he wants to end up on the Lakers. I think he will not sign the extension this off-season and play it out and either get traded at the deadline or walk for nothing, the following season. And I know that’s depressing to hear and I wouldn’t wait until LeBron’s at that point; what, 36? 35 and a half?” Jason McIntyre told ScoopBRadio.

“Kevin chases championships, so he’s going to go where it’s a higher chance that he’ll win a championship,” Chris Sheridan told me on the Scoop B Radio Podcast.

“Right now that looks like LA. The Lakers are holding those two max spots. But we don’t know what’s going to come the Lakers way during the trade deadline. There are guys that want to get out of where they are now like Kawhi Leonard.  Kawhi Leonard might want to go to the Clippers instead of the Lakers. Or Kawhi might get comfortable in Toronto and say: I like it here. Or he might want to come to New York. He spent the last season in New York when he wasn’t honoring his contract with the Spurs.”

“You just have to look at the landscape after the trade deadline in February before you say Kevin Durant lands here,” says Sheridan.

“Kevin Durant knows what’s best. He may end up with the Wizards. I think he’s going to end up with the Lakers. You can ask me a question on February 8th and get a different answer.”

“Anthony Davis is not getting traded this season. There is no reason for New Orleans to trade him. Why in the world would you? He is not a free agent this summer coming up. You are going to try your best to make the playoffs, and they are going to try to make a move at the deadline that can make them better and make Anthony want to stay,” Chris Broussard told Scoop B Radio.

He would continue:

“The problem is I don’t think they are going to make the playoffs and second what is going to happen at the end of the season they are going to offer him the supermax at the end of the season into the summer, and he will turn that down. Then they are going to realize he is not going to stay here long term and they can lose him for nothing in free agency or trade him.”

“The Celtics with their draft picks and some much young talent they have more to offer than anybody else. So, I think there’s a great chance he gets traded to the Celtics, and they decided to build around Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis.”

“Don’t rule out the New York Knicks, because I believe that is a place Anthony would play and the Lakers are going to get there. They are going to try their best to get him, and I think they have a shot, but I think it’s going to come down to those three teams New York, Boston, and the Lakers.”

If you haven’t caught on yet, Robinson is strategically bringing on some of the sports industry’s most notable minds on his podcast to verify his reporting for the last seven-plus months.

We will have to see how the trade deadline plays out in a week and a half and then how free agency this summer.
