Hot Yoga Keeps Me Tone, Says Amber Nova

Former Impact Knockout Amber Nova was a guest on the last episode of Women’s Wrestling Weekly with Hosts TK Trinidad & Evan Mack.

Women’s Wrestling movement has pushed itself to the forefront of the wrestling business, and Amber Nova spoke on the status of women in the industry at this current time.

“I love it. I’m just so proud and so grateful to be coming up in the time that I am in women’s wrestling. Compared to just even five or six years ago how different it was compared to now. So, I’m so thankful for my time and opportunity,” said Nova.

Professional wrestlers put their bodies through constant and rigorous routines on a daily basis, whether it’s practicing before they are scheduled to go on during a live show or just performing 365 days a year as some wrestling companies require as a talent on their respected roster. It would only be natural to ask the performer how they are feeling physically. Nova was indeed asked how she was feeling physically?

“Physically, I feel like I really am in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life. I know I am one of the smallest wrestlers, you can compare me to AJ Lee, but even though I’m small, I’m strong. You don’t have to be big, and I like being one of those small girls that are quick, I’m fast, and I use my small size to my advantage, but being small I get pretty sore. I’m not going to lie. Physically, it is brutal look at what just happen to Becky Lynch. She has her face broken and I’ve had injuries as well. Knock on wood nothing too serious and haven’t had any major surgeries pretty healthy and pretty safe, but physically will put you to the test. But, I think women are probably stronger than men.

She would continue:

“Like I said I really haven’t had any major injuries knock on wood, but I had really bad soreness to where I can’t even turn my neck, it’s so stiff, or there are muscle pains in my back like I strain or pull muscles in my back. That is why I do hot yoga pretty often, and I love it. Orlando Power Yoga is the best. It is way better than going to normal yoga. The heat loosens your muscles it does get really hot. You sweat puddles and sweat out all the bad toxins in your body. So, if you are sick, which I recently was, so I did that. It really pushes you to the limit, and I think Hot Yoga honestly makes me a stronger competitor when I’m in the ring said, Nova.”

Nova last competed on December 8, 2018, for the Fighting Evolution Wrestling Women’s Title at the FEW show at Coral Springs High School in South Florida.
